Hey all,
I've been super bad at updating this as it's been news for weeks now BUT, whatever. So, on October 12th, GOBLIN COCK - BAGGED AND BOARDED goes on sale! I've had a copy for a couple of weeks now and it fucking rocks. i mean, it's still rob so it has elements of cuteness, but it's realllllly good.
other news: mr. and mrs. crow's baby is coming any day now, so wish them luck.

neumos show:
good standard pinback show. the sound wasn't very good but the energy was right on. they didn't play this train, which is a bummer, but prog is still a good standby closer. rob made weird talk about weird stuff. i saw him chug at least 2 pints of guiness on stage, so i'm sure thats why.

pinback tomorrow night at neumos. this will be concert number 6 or 7 i think. why do they always start playing at like 10 at night? it's an all ages show too!
i'm still excited though. to celebrate, i shall read my new bradbury book and listen to My Star on repeat for a while.

Ok, so the news that pinback might be breaking up still stands, because
i have not seen anything that specifically says "Pinback is staying
together", but there is some very good evidence that either it was all
internet sheanagins, or maybe the boys just had a tough day. Shortly
after posting the news, they cancelled the Arizona shows, much to
anonymissity's anguish, citing no real reason. Well, a day or so later,
they canceled that announcment and uncancelled the show. Unless
they are just fulfilling some tour contract, it seems like our friends
in pinback decided to stay together. As i said before, there has been

the arizona shows have been canceled, unfortunately. we're sorry we won't be
able to
make it over there this time around. perhaps some other time...
december 3rd - tucson, az - club congress CANCELED
december 4th - phoenix, az - brick house CANCELED
also, our friend neil hamburger was so well received we decided to ask him to
guest MC
the los angeles show on december 1st. it should be fun.

well folks, i'm getting word that at the eugene show, during fortress, absiv stopped and said it would be the last pinback show, took off, then rob said something about love for music and played penelope. This has been confirmed by two people, but i know not the context, so don't take it as positive positive. I'll have more info later...
